The Resolution 2021 Reflection

Hello, my friends so I am sitting here and it is new years eve and I get a chance for reflection again and it isn't new to me because I am in constant reflection of my life daily always wondering if I am doing the right thing taking the basic step and just being reassuring enough to make the right moves and to tell you the truth on tonight eve I feel that the one thing I needed a lesson on is letting go!

Letting go of all the unwarranted things that weigh on your heavy life decisions, jobs, partnerships, people! And being a genuinely open and honest person I feel there is a level of certainty that needs to be genuine and closure.

I learned that old saying this year if you feed a cat once it will come back forever

I learned that sometimes with people you can care for them but as my grandmother used to say you have to feed some people from a long-handled spoon. you can be kind in spirit and the heart but some people will naturally show themselves to you and you have to be witty and intelligent enough to understand what they are divulging themselves to you I (did)

I want to live my life, not record it.

My year was a lesson in trusting myself in what is and isn't a factor. I can control so many things but cannot control what is inevitable, and that led me into some uncomfortable situations which eventually led to losing relationships that were close to me and ultimately people who tried to capitalize on my greatness. In the end, your word and character represent what your intention is, and how you are presented often lasts longer than your being and your existence. Hence, it is important to be selective about who you let in your presence and around your soul since not everybody and everything is good for the spirit.

As a manager in the past year, I have been upset by the way I didn't give myself the credit or recognition for the smaller and tangible things I accomplished this year. Did my company do the best all year no we had setbacks, people left, cancellations, but we are still here learning and leading by example. Rome wasn't built in a day, and I lead my company by identifying the strengths and weaknesses of my employees and working from there.

Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans.

In a world that is forever changing, I met some amazing people that I am thankful to have as my Rb family. Despite medical issues, family issues, and financial setbacks, they spent hours letting me vent on analytical research discouragements, and the whole picture - people that I am thankful to call my family.

In this year, which I thought I didn't have, I've learned patience. You see, I work with grades 2- 8 and then 9-12 and some days are better than others, and as of lately I have been complimented on my calm attitude and how I am able to hold my composure. In addition to being sidetracked, it takes so much of your already shortened time to be spiteful and to process unnecessary negative thoughts especially when I'm a stepparent, not my first rodeo overall I achieved more than my share and endured a lot too

Life is a mirror and will reflect back to the thinker what he thinks into it.

Ultimately, all I want is to be utterly and absolutely comfortable in love with life. I want to live a life that is full of kindness, positivity, and loving people the way I would want to be loved and be loved in return, living the life God intended for me in my creation and existence.

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!
